About Me

Born in Algiers with roots deep in the Sahara Desert, I grew up amidst the vibrant cultures of West Africa, Europe and the USA. From an early age, I was immersed in a world where architecture and art were integral to daily life, thanks my father, an esteemed architect. In 1993, my path led me to Milan, where I discovered a passion for antiques. This newfound interest blossomed, and in 2006, I opened my own shop in the heart of Milan, specializing in furniture. This venture marked the beginning of my journey in sourcing and creating home décor items and unique goods. Determined to deepen my expertise, I pursued a Master’s degree in Interior Design from Inchbald School of Design. Over the past 15 years, I have honed my skills as an interior designer – working on residential and corporate projects worldwide. As the Co-owner of Karavane Society, I seek unique and inspiring home décor pieces from around the world.
